
OUR CURRENT SEASON SNAPSHOT
As of April 30, 2024, we have served 1584 night referrals and 171 day referrals with a total of 3 COVID-19 positives for the 2023-2024 season. A complete comparison is posted below. We still need your financial support to continue serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
We are happy to report there were no COVID-19 outbreaks during the 2021-2022 season and we successfully opened for 86 nights (82 attended) and 7 days during this season for a total of 406 bed nights and 41 bed days for our shelterees!
We served 71 individuals, who stayed on average 7 days with us; comprised of 59 males and 12 females.
Over 20 of our guests were sheltered in transitional housing during the winter months and/or housed with the help of our community partners.

Stanton Center Winter Relief Program
THE STANTON CENTER WINTER RELIEF PROGRAM HOURS OF OPERATION HOURS ARE 7 PM UNTIL 7 AM, LOCATED AT 92 W. WASHINGTON STREET, ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND 21401 DURING THE WINTER MONTHS. THE STANTON CENTER WINTER RELIEF PROGRAM IS THE SHELTER OF LAST RESORT IN THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS. ALL PATRONS MUST ARRIVE BY 9 PM. PLEASE CALL 410.216.9167 OR 410.768.5522.
Forecasted low temperatures over the next few days will meet the current threshold to activate the City of Annapolis’ (Warming Center) Winter Relief Plan. The Stanton Center, located at 92 West Washington St. Annapolis MD, 21401, will open during the following times to provide emergency temporary warming relief to community members who need this service:
Monday, March 17th, 2025, at 7:00 pm until Tuesday morning at 7:00 am
Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at 7:00 pm until Friday morning at 7:00 am
Friday, March 21st, 2025, at 7:00 pm until Saturday morning at 7:00 am
Reminder – Patrons who take advantage of this service must:
- Arrive for the initial screening process by 9:00 p.m.
- Entry will be denied to those in possession of drugs, alcohol, and/or weapons.
- Smoking on the premises is prohibited.
- You must exit the facility no later than 7:00 a.m. the following day. PLEASE NOTE: PATRONS MAY BE ASKED TO EXIT AT 6:30 AM TO ENSURE ALL PATRONS HAVE EXITED THE PREMISES BY 7 AM.
Please keep in mind that the Stanton Center is a temporary emergency warming center of last resort. If you need general or long-term sheltering assistance, you may also contact the Crisis Response warm line at 410-768-5522.
The Stanton Center Winter Relief will open in the Winter months, unless the threshold of 32 degrees in windchill is reached, as an overnight warming center for individuals who need this service.
