JB came to us unemployed and is now working two jobs!!! He aspires to join the armed forces and open his own Dance Studio called "Unheard Movement"!

NB came to us unemployed and frustrated but is now employed as well! He has received several promotions on his job which started only 6 hours a week and now approaching full-time, all while making himself an integral part of our organization!  He often assists the facilitators during our Empowerment Seminars!!!

WB came to us unemployed and is now serving in the military while working at a financial institution!  He went from earning minimum wage to a salary income!  We are very proud of you!

TB is a single mother of four, currently working on her Bacholer's degree in Business Administration Management! She has earned her Associate's degree in July of this year while in our program and has successfully completed all counseling sessions as well as our Empowerment Seminars through our Welfare to Work program! TB is about to begin volunteering at a local business and start our customized training series! She is determined to change her family's life and reshape her destiny through her education! We are so excited about her future!

Current News

Our "Defeat the Streets" and "Offenders to Contenders" Programs have been changing lives of the homeless, disabled, unemployed and previously incarcerated!  We are currently on the Anne Arundel Coalition to End Homelessness and are partnering with many other organizations to achieve our goals!

Our new Partneships include but are not limited to:

• Light House Shelter
• Anne Arundel Community Action Agency
• Opportunities Industrialization Center of Anne Arundel County (OIC)
• Department of Social Services
• and many more!!!

Jeremy B.

Jeremy B. (our youngest son) was one of our first clients who came to us unemployed and ready to change his life. He went through all of our seminars, courses and training and helped him to dream!  His dream was to open a dance studio for people with disabilites called "Unheard Movement"! Since being in our program, he has worked in an excess of 3 jobs at a time. Still working two now, he proudly works at Liberty Tax service for the second year and has been promoted to Marketing Director and Supervisor of the Wavers! Corporate recognized Jeremy and granted him a full scholarship to AACC for Dance! Read more of his story on our Featured Clients Page.
